Set up CatalogBadge with Salla

Salla already publishes your products as a catalog link. CatalogBadge reads that link, draws branded images for your products, and gives you feed URLs for Meta and Snapchat. This guide takes about ten minutes.

Coming soon: CatalogBadge as an app in the Salla App Store. You install it, confirm by email that the store is yours, and we read your products directly, with no catalog link to copy. It only reads products and never changes your store. Until it is listed, use the steps below.

1. Generate your catalog link in Salla

In your Salla dashboard, open Marketing, then Tracking tools.
Choose Catalog.
Pick the language and currency, and generate the link. Salla makes one link per language and currency, and keeps it updated whenever you change a product.
Copy the link.

Start with the language your product titles are mainly written in, usually Arabic. You can add the other language later for English images (step 4).

2. Add the link to CatalogBadge

Create your account on app.catalogbadge.com, then choose Onboard a store.
Feed: paste the Salla link. We read it and show sample products with their prices, plus anything Meta would reject, such as titles over 65 characters or a sale price above the price. Nothing is saved yet.
Store: confirm the store name, platform (Salla), country, currency, time zone and the language of the feed.
Template and Brand: pick a template for products on sale and one for the rest, then your logo, colours, digits and tabby or tamara settings.
QA preview: check your products as finished images before anything goes live.
Feed URLs: copy your Meta and Snapchat feed URLs, then choose Go live.

Images are drawn while your plan or free trial is active. Until then your feeds carry your own product photos, so nothing changes in your ads. See pricing.

3. Pick the right Meta feed

How your Meta catalog gets your Salla products decides which of our feeds you use:

4. Optional: English images

If your Salla store has English titles, generate a second catalog link in English (same currency). On your store’s Overview page in CatalogBadge, paste it into the English feed box, then switch English on under Sizes and languages in the Rules tab. We take titles and links from the English link; prices and stock always come from your main link. Meta then gets a language feed so English-speaking shoppers see the English image (see the Meta guide).

What we handle for you

Prices written as 249 ر.س, SAR 249.00 or with Arabic digits are all read exactly.
Out-of-stock products are left alone and keep their own photo.
A product whose photo cannot be loaded keeps its original image; the rest of your catalog carries on.
