tabby and tamara instalments in Snapchat catalog ads
Snapchat dynamic ads show your product photo and price from the catalog. CatalogBadge replaces that photo with a branded image that carries the tabby or tamara instalment, so a Snapchatter sees what each payment costs before they tap.
Put it in Snapchat
File to paste: snap-full.xml
- In Snapchat Ads Manager, open Catalogs and choose the catalog your dynamic ads use.
- Open its product source, choose a scheduled feed URL and paste our Snapchat file’s URL in place of the one it reads today.
- Pick the most frequent schedule Snapchat offers. To undo, paste the old URL back.
- Snapchat takes the 1:1 image. The bnpl template suits it: a large price with the instalment line right under it, readable at the size Snapchat shows products.
- Snapchat has no supplementary feed, so it always takes our full file. Every field of your feed passes through unchanged apart from the image links, so titles, prices and product sets stay as they were.
- A product priced outside your provider’s limits still gets its branded image, only without the line, and an out-of-stock product keeps its own photo. Nothing leaves the catalog because of the instalment line.
Set up the instalment line in CatalogBadge
- Open your store in CatalogBadge, then Brand, and find the Buy now, pay later box. Add tabby, tamara or both, in the order you want them shown.
- Set the number of instalments (4 unless you change it) and the smallest and largest order your merchant agreement allows. tabby and tamara agree limits per merchant, so use yours.
- Pick a design that shows the line: the bnpl template leads with it, and sale, split, header, ribbon and tag carry it below the price. Preview it on your own products in Arabic and English.
How the amount on the image is worked out
- The price shown, sale price included, divided by the number of instalments and rounded up, so the line never shows less than a shopper pays. A price that does not divide evenly carries “approx.”.
- A product priced outside your minimum or maximum shows no instalment line at all.
- With both providers on the same number of instalments, one line carries both names; each name sits on its provider’s own colours.
- When the price changes, the product shows its own photo until the new image is ready. It never shows an old instalment.
Pinterest is left out on purpose: its 2:3 image drops the instalment line, because Pinterest asks for calm images with little text on them.
Questions
Can I show tabby on Snapchat and Meta at the same time?
Yes. Both files come from the same store and the same Buy now, pay later settings, so the instalment matches on every platform.
What if I offer tabby and tamara with different instalment counts?
The first provider in your order sets the line. A second one with the same count shares it; one with a different count is left off that image, so the line never mixes two counts.
