Your catalog ads in your customers’ language

Every store has an Arabic image and a Latin-script image. You choose the language of the Latin one: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese. The discount, “from” price, delivery, badge, promo-code and instalment texts are then written in it.

Plan: On every plan

What the language changes

  • The words on the image: the discount, the “from” price, free delivery, cash on delivery, the New, Bestseller and Limited stock badges, the promo-code line and the instalment line.
  • The way a percentage is written: “30 %” with a space in French, German and Spanish, “30%” in the others.
  • Examples: a store in Quebec shows “Économisez 30 %” and “Livraison gratuite”; a store in Germany shows “30 % Rabatt” and “Kostenloser Versand”.
  • Every text stays editable for your store, so you can still write your own wording.
  • Prices follow your store’s country, not the language: $1,249.50 in the US, 1.249,50 € in Germany.

Choosing it

Pick the language on the Brand tab of your dashboard. We suggest one from your store’s country, and the preview shows your choice before you save it. The dashboard itself stays in English.

When you change it, every product gets a new image once, and each product keeps its current image until the new one exists.

Arabic and the language feed

  • Arabic is drawn by Chromium with full letter joining and right-to-left order, in Western or Arabic digits.
  • The Meta language feed carries your second language’s title, link and image, marked with Meta’s code for the language you chose (French for Canada or France, Spanish for Spain or Latin America, Portuguese for Portugal or Brazil).

What it does not do

  • A store has one Latin-script language. English and French images from the same store are not covered yet.
  • Text you wrote in your own designs is yours and is not translated.
